Karl is a seasoned senior executive with over 28 years' experience shaping housing, care and retirement living communities across the UK and internationally.

He has held senior leadership and board roles with LMS Capital, Places for People, Methodist Homes (MHA) and Meridian Healthcare (now part of HC-One), leading the development, acquisition and operational management of large-scale healthcare and retirement living portfolios. His expertise covers the full lifecycle of community development - from investment, planning and construction through to sales, compliance, customer experience and long-term asset management.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a management consultant advising on estate strategies, funding, redevelopment, new builds and operational oversight for clients such as Barratts, Berkeley Group, Crest Nicholson, Department for Education, NHS England, Persimmon Homes, Qatar Diar, Qatar Foundation, Royal Bank of Scotland and UK Parliamentary Estate.

In addition to his executive career, Karl is an active non-executive director and adviser, serving organisations such as the United Nations, UK Government, Gates Healthcare Foundation, Dementia and Housing Working Group and Yorkshire Coastal Housing. His governance roles span charities, housing associations, health-focused organisations and international advisory boards.
